Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Kawells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hard Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hard Nose!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawells clinches up with Nose and pushes him back against the cage.
Nose is pressed up against the cage. Kawells has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nose down to the mat. Nose avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kawells tries to clinch but Nose is having none of it.
Kawells shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kawells gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nose tries for a takedown but Kawells manages to get underhooks.
Kawells is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nose gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Kawells. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nose tries to score a body lock takedown but Kawells shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kawells ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kawells no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kawells is looking to stand up but Nose isn't so interested in that idea.

Nose is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kawells is just riding it out for now. Nose eventually gives up the hold.

Kawells shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nose but Nose pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nose changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kawells tries to avoid it but Nose manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kawells to the ground. Kawells escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kawells is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kawells is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nose is controlling him.
Nose working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nose forces his way into half guard.
Kawells pushes Nose off looking to stand but Nose dives back in and keeps control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nose has a takedown stuffed.
Nose shoots in and drives through. Kawells sprawls well.

and Nose decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kawells's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kawells tries to strike from the bottom.
Nose trying to control the position from guard on top but Kawells is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nose won't allow Kawells to get back to his feet.
Nose is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Nose trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kawells's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kawells doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Nose counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kawells is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kawells has his feet on Nose's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Kawells counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kawells.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nose is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kawells is trying to escape and Nose transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kawells is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nose! Very nice indeed!
