Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dominique Kennedy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OShea! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OShea throws a push kick but Kennedy slaps the foot to one side. OShea looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Kennedy misses with a head kick.
Kennedy gets caught flat footed, as OShea shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kennedy pushes OShea off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Conor OShea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. OShea instigates a clinch. Kennedy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. OShea fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kennedy moves in looking to clinch but OShea pushes him off. Kennedy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kennedy moves into range and clinches up with OShea. Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kennedy clinches with his opponent.
Kennedy is fighting off a takedown attempt but OShea is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kennedy to the mat. Kennedy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are working up against the cage. Kennedy manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Kennedy.
Kennedy is trying to drag OShea to the mat but OShea just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kennedy wants to get back to striking at distance but OShea won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OShea wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kennedy tries to score a body lock takedown but OShea shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominique Kennedy. That's going to take a lot out of him. OShea breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
OShea looks to land a body kick but Kennedy moved away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kennedy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
OShea lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. OShea pushes Kennedy up against the cage in a clinch. Kennedy tries to pull guard but OShea won't allow it.

Kennedy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has OShea pinned against the cage. OShea gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. OShea rushes Kennedy and presses him up against the cage. Kennedy misses with a punch on the inside.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as OShea takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy drops down looking for an ankle pick but OShea pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kennedy wants to clinch. OShea clinches up with Kennedy and pushes him back against the cage. OShea's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kennedy rushes OShea and presses him up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dominique Kennedy will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kennedy controls OShea momentarily but OShea frees himself. Kennedy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kennedy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kennedy is trying to drag OShea to the mat but OShea just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kennedy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. OShea just stands there and leans against the cage. Kennedy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but OShea pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominique Kennedy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. OShea gets underhooks to prevent Kennedy's takedown attempt.

Kennedy drops an elbow to the side of OShea's head. Kennedy stands up out of the half guard. Kennedy doesn't manage to clinch there - OShea circles away.

Kennedy creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Kennedy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by OShea after a bit of a struggle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. OShea dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Kennedy jumps guard and drags OShea to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OShea shoots in and bounces Kennedy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kennedy manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. OShea turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Kennedy throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! OShea bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kennedy explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Kennedy is looking to clinch. OShea blocks a jab. As Kennedy backs off OShea throws a huge counter combo but Kennedy manages to avoid it all. OShea blocks a head kick by Kennedy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. OShea keeps the fight on the outside. OShea rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kennedy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. OShea blocks a head kick by Kennedy.
OShea throws out a counter right but Kennedy avoids it with no problem. Kennedy fails with an attempt to clinch.
OShea replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kennedy blocks it well. OShea defending well as Kennedy loads up on a big left hand. OShea tries to counter by closing the distance. Kennedy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that OShea can do to turn this around? Kennedy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. OShea throws a head kick but Kennedy moves out of range.
OShea closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. OShea has Kennedy pressed against the cage, preventing Kennedy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
