Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Sight (ranked 3919 p4p, 445 weight class) and Michael Grundmann (ranked 4771 p4p, 513 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundmann dodges the punch combination from Sight.
Sight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grundmann.
Grundmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Sight sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sight is looking to counter the offense by Grundmann and move into the clinch.
Sight scores with a jab to the body.
Grundmann misses with a takedown attempt - Sight sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Sight was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Grundmann.

Grundmann takes the fight into the clinch.

Sight manages to break the clinch.
Grundmann gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sight counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Paul Sight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Grundmann.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sight tries a head kick but it misses.
Sight throws a right and a left that both miss.

Grundmann closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Grundmann is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sight is trying to escape and Grundmann transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sight is forced to tap! Nice work there by Grundmann! Very nice indeed!
