Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Christian Cyborg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Callum Cunningham!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham moves into the clinch.
Cyborg lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cyborg pushes Cunningham back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Cyborg manages to break the clinch.
Cyborg throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cunningham throws a sloppy head kick and Cyborg moves out of range easily.
Cunningham has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cyborg finds it's way round the side to connect with Cunningham's head.
Cyborg scores with a jab to the head.
Cyborg lands a left and a right that send Cunningham crashing to the mat, dazed. Cyborg thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cunningham is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cyborg closes the distance and clinches.
Cunningham is still on wobbly legs! Can Cyborg finish him?
Cyborg unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Cunningham! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Cyborg is unloading with more strikes now! Cunningham drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christian Cyborg!
After winning the bout, Christian Cyborg thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
