Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zabit Samedov (ranked 3488 p4p, 454 weight class) and Jeremiah Doucet (ranked 3628 p4p, 466 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zabit Samedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremiah Doucet!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doucet shoots in and bounces Samedov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Samedov manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Samedov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Samedov throws a sloppy head kick
and Doucet counters with a single leg into guard. Samedov didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Samedov is looking to stand up but Doucet isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Samedov manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
A body shot lands from Samedov.
Samedov doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Doucet has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Samedov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Samedov manages to escape to his feet.
Doucet shoots for a takedown but Samedov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Samedov looks to land a combination but Doucet avoids it well.
Samedov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Doucet tries to keep at a distance but Samedov has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Samedov misses with the head strike.
Samedov misses with some punches.
Samedov misses with a short punch on the inside.
Samedov trying to land knees to the body.
Doucet blocking some punches.
Doucet has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Samedov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Samedov is trying to get back to his feet but Doucet has full control of the position and if anything, Samedov has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Samedov is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
Samedov throws a poor cross that misses
and Doucet counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Samedov manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Samedov swings wildly with an uppercut but Doucet uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Samedov tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Doucet avoids it.
Doucet lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Samedov manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Samedov tries to land a body kick
and Doucet decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Samedov's guard.
Doucet landing with the ground and pound.
Doucet is working Samedov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Doucet makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
It looks like Zabit Samedov has been cut.
Samedov pushes Doucet off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Samedov throws a sloppy head kick
and Doucet counters with a takedown into side control.
Samedov is trying to get back to his feet.
Doucet has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym (ALL ELITE COACHES). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Doucet looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Samedov is avoiding damage well.
Doucet tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doucet in side control, throwing shots but Samedov defends.
Samedov pushes Doucet away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Doucet gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Check out the look on Doucet's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Samedov is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Doucet has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Doucet misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Doucet throws a strike aimed at the side of Samedov's head but Samedov avoids it well.
Doucet prevents Samedov from escaping the position.
Doucet is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Samedov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Zabit Samedov's cut is getting worse.
Doucet is trying to get an arm triangle but Samedov is defending well.
Samedov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Doucet asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Doucet tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Samedov tries to escape but Doucet is in control.
Samedov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Doucet cracks Samedov with a big right hand but Samedov just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Zabit Samedov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Doucet cracks Samedov with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Jeez, Zabit Samedov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zabit Samedov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jeremiah Doucet!
