Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Jerger (ranked 18409 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zou Li (ranked 6107 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerger has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Jerger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zou Li!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jergers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Li lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jerger slips a jab from Li.
As Li backs away, Jerger returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Li throws a big shot that misses.
It looked like Jerger was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Li.
Li cracks Jerger with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jerger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Li throws out the jab.
Li with a nice cross.
Zou Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jerger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Li feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jerger sprawling to the canvas! Jerger rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Li finish him?!
Jerger is rocked!
Jerger is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jerger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Li.
A little feinted left hand from Jerger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Oh Jerger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Li misses with a hook. Jerger ducked under it nicely.
It looked like Jerger was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Li.
Jerger seems to have got his legs back now.
Li cracks Jerger on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jerger falls backwards against the cage. Li follows up with more strikes that drop Jerger to his knees. Li keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jerger! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zou Li!
