Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilford Gregory (ranked 5959 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandoe Mi (ranked 25472 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sandoe Mi!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregory moves out of range of the leg kick from Mi.

Gregory fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mi to the ground. Gregory is now in Mi's guard.
Gregory slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gregory lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Gregory gets to his feet. Mi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The fight stays on the outside here - Mi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gregory wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Mi.

It looks like Wilford Gregory has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mi stalks Gregory and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gregory's face. Gregory staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gregory fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mi to the ground. Gregory is now in Mi's guard.
Gregory won't allow Mi to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gregory might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gregory sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Gregory throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gregory content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gregory throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Gregory decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Gregory closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mi circles away.

Gregory gets a takedown into half guard.
Mi tries to kick Gregory off in order to stand up. Gregory Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mi pushes Gregory away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gregory gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gregory lands some shots froms side control.
Gregory could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gregory stands up and beckons Mi to his feet.
Gregory dodges the punch combination from Mi.
Mi throws a combination that misses

and Gregory counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mi looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gregory controlling from the top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gregory decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mi throws a right and a left that both miss.

Gregory looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Mi trying to keep a closed guard but Gregory is proving a slippery customer.
Gregory controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mi is working an open guard so Gregory takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Mi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gregory to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mi is wriggling around but Gregory manages to pass to half guard.

Gregory stands up out of the half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mi avoids the body shot from Gregory.

Gregory clinches up with Mi and pushes him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Wilford Gregory will probably get the nod.

Gregory throws a body shot but no joy.

Mi lands a left and a right that send Gregory crashing to the mat, dazed. Mi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mi misses with a series of wild punches.
Gregory is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mi.
Mi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gregory. Gregory obviously looking to wear him down.
Gregory dives in and grabs Mi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mi pushes down on Gregory's head and hops out.
Mi slips a jab from Gregory.
Mi lands a hook that stumbles Gregory back into the cage. Mi follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Gregory to the canvas! Mi pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Gregory has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
