Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tahjet Davimenikov (ranked 5193 p4p, 246 weight class) and Cayson McDevlin (ranked 5578 p4p, 264 weight class). Cayson McDevlin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tahjet Davimenikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cayson McDevlin! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDevlin throws a nice looking combination but Davimenikov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. McDevlin connects with a jab. Davimenikov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McDevlin is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Davimenikov advances to full mount. Davimenikov lands a heavy elbow. Davimenikov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McDevlin can do anything to dispel that myth. McDevlin looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davimenikov has the hooks in. McDevlin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDevlin is trapped and Davimenikov is scoring with shots to the head and body. Davimenikov just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
McDevlin rolls, trying to escape but Davimenikov keeps control of the position.
Davimenikov has good solid back control here. Davimenikov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McDevlin for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McDevlin is in bad spot here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davimenikov working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Davimenikov controlling the positon. Davimenikov is hanging on to McDevlin's back as he tries to escape.
McDevlin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davimenikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Davimenikov is riding his opponent, not letting McDevlin buck him off. McDevlin is trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McDevlin is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Davimenikov slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Davimenikov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McDevlin tries to avoid it but Davimenikov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McDevlin to the ground. McDevlin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McDevlin tries to keep at a distance but Davimenikov has taken the fight into the clinch. Davimenikov decides to pull guard. Davimenikov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McDevlin manages to get himself to full guard.
McDevlin wants to improve his position but instead Davimenikov has moved into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davimenikov scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tahjet Davimenikov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Davimenikov slips a nice elbow through McDevlin's hands, connecting with McDevlin's forehead.

McDevlin wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Good control from Davimenikov. McDevlin is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. McDevlin is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Davimenikov.

Davimenikov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davimenikov continues to stall. Davimenikov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. McDevlin is in bad spot here.

Tahjet Davimenikov dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McDevlin goes for a double leg but Davimenikov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Davimenikov continues to drive forward. Davimenikov closes this distance looking for a takedown but McDevlin circles away. No luck for McDevlin with that takedown attempt. Davimenikov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. McDevlin with a nice cross. McDevlin scores with a jab to the body. Davimenikov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Davimenikov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. McDevlin pushes Davimenikov off but Davimenikov dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davimenikov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. A lull in the action here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davimenikov gets to mount! McDevlin was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Davimenikov controlling from the full mount. Davimenikov working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Davimenikov breaks from McDevlin's wrist control and lands an elbow. Davimenikov controlling the pace for now.

McDevlin is rocked! Davimenikov working away from the top, dropping strikes. McDevlin is still in real trouble! Can Davimenikov finish him? Davimenikov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. McDevlin reaches up to try and control the position but Davimenikov seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! McDevlin rolls and tries to escape and now Davimenikov has his back!
A helpless look comes across McDevlin 's face. He knows he's trapped as Davimenikov lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
