Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lawler swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A telegraphed right hand from Flash misses the target.
Lawler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Flash throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Lawler is desperately trying to improve his position but Flash has a good base and remains in mount.

Flash wants to free his trapped foot but Lawler is holding on for dear life with his legs.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lawler is on top in guard.

Lawler is pushing down on Flash's leg trying to pass to half guard. Flash is fighting to maintain full guard but Lawler has managed to sneak the leg through.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lawler stands up.
Lawler feints and as Flash raises his hands in defense, Lawler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lawler slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lawler passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Lawler tries to score with some ground and pound. Flash controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Lawler throws a chopping leg kick but Flash manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

and Flash counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Flash.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horrible takedown by Flash or perhaps it was just good defense by Lawler which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alberto Flash will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lawler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Flash walks away with a smile on his face. Lawler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Flash. Lawler shrugs it off though.
Lawler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flash but Flash pushes him off and we're back to square one.
