And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sub Zero!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Anvile misses with a few strikes there.
Anvile's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Anvile duly obliges.
Anvile clinches up with Zero and pushes him back against the cage.
Anvile is leaning against Zero and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Anvile tries a body shot but Zero blocks it.
Anvile breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Zero working the ground and pound but Anvile is defending the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Zero has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Anvile is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zero yanks on the arm and Anvile is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zero.
