Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacinto Parker (ranked 6168 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loius Thompson (ranked 5952 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jacinto Parker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jacinto Parker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Loius Thompson! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Parker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Parker keeping moving, preventing Thompson from controlling successfully. Parker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker passes Thompson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thompson can do anything to dispel that myth. Parker working the head and body with strikes. Parker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Parker throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Thompson to regain full guard. You can see the frustration on Thompson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Parker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Parker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Parker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Thompson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Parker looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Thompson is avoiding damage well.

Thompson scores with a takedown into Parker's guard. Thompson tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard. Thompson won't allow Parker to sweep him here. Parker is working hard here to advance position. Parker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thompson stopping the sweep attempt from Parker. Parker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Parker looking for a triangle here. Thompson is fighting it but it looks tight! Parker pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Thompson is tapping out - this one is all over!
