The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster digs a good hook to Al Khuzeem's body.
Foster shoots in for a takedown but Al Khuzeem shows good takedown defense.
Al Khuzeem misses with a head kick.

Al Khuzeem feints and as Foster raises his hands in defense, Al Khuzeem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Al Khuzeem trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Al Khuzeem scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Al Khuzeem lands a couple of digs.
Al Khuzeem passes Foster's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Foster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Al Khuzeem tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Foster.

Al Khuzeem is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Foster has hold of Al Khuzeem's hands but Al Khuzeem slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Al Khuzeem uses his free foot to push down on Foster's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Foster.
Al Khuzeem wants to control the pace but Foster is squirming around nicely.

Foster is trying desperately to improve position.

Al Khuzeem moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Foster has worked his arm free - good work by Foster!

Oh Foster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Al Khuzeem wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Foster, who protects the arm well.
Foster seems to have got his legs back now.
Al Khuzeem wants to stand but Foster has his arm trapped.
Al Khuzeem in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Al Khuzeem has hold of Foster's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Foster tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Al Khuzeem cranks the arm and Foster screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Foster, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
