Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adylbek Beyshengaziev (ranked 4877 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Tidwell (ranked 5103 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adylbek Beyshengaziev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rob Tidwell!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tidwell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Beyshengaziev fails with the takedown.
Tidwell tries for a takedown but Beyshengaziev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beyshengaziev throws a big counter combination but Tidwell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Beyshengaziev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tidwell rushes Beyshengaziev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Tidwell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Beyshengaziev gets a clinch.

Tidwell lands a takedown into guard.
Beyshengaziev keeping moving, preventing Tidwell from controlling successfully.
Beyshengaziev is looking to stand up but Tidwell isn't so interested in that idea.

Beyshengaziev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tidwell defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tidwell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tidwell wants to stand but Beyshengaziev is controlling his posture from full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tidwell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Beyshengaziev keeping moving, preventing Tidwell from controlling successfully.
Tidwell is looking to stand up but Beyshengaziev won't let him.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Beyshengaziev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tidwell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beyshengaziev somewhat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Beyshengaziev pushes Tidwell up against the cage in a clinch.
Beyshengaziev is trying to push Tidwell away but Tidwell has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Tidwell pulls guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tidwell can do anything to dispel that myth.
Beyshengaziev preventing the sweep.

Tidwell looking for a guillotine here but Beyshengaziev defends easily.
Beyshengaziev is looking to stand up but Tidwell won't let him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tidwell wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Beyshengaziev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tidwell on the ground.
Beyshengaziev trying to control but Tidwell is working from the bottom.

Tidwell had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beyshengaziev defends it easily.

Tidwell looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Beyshengaziev looking to sit in guard and control but Tidwell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


That's four minutes gone in the round.

Beyshengaziev looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Tidwell passes into side control.

Tidwell working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Beyshengaziev is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tidwell has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tidwell wants to stand but Beyshengaziev has his arm trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rob Tidwell dominated that round.
That's time! Beyshengaziev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Beyshengaziev closes the distance and clinches up with Tidwell, looking for a takedown. Beyshengaziev pushes Tidwell against the cage but Tidwell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Beyshengaziev tries to sprawl but Tidwell drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Beyshengaziev tries to kick Tidwell off in order to stand up. Tidwell Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Beyshengaziev is trying to work for a sweep but Tidwell has mounted him!

Tidwell working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Beyshengaziev turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Tidwell off and cradles Beyshengaziev's limp body as Tidwell celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Rob Tidwell!
