Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chelios looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Chelios persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Chelios tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silva fails to pull guard.
Silva blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Chelios has had enough of the clinch but Silva keeps him there for the moment.
Silva prevents Chelios from breaking the clinch.
Chelios wants a takedown but no success here.
Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chelios walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Chelios shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Chelios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chelios is just content to waste time from the top position. Silva takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Chelios gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Chelios shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
Chelios won't allow Silva to get back to his feet.
Silva throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Silva throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chelios escapes and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Chelios moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Chelios laying and praying for a moment but Silva takes advantage and regains half guard.
Chelios wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chelios is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chelios wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Silva manages to get to full guard.
Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.
Silva pushes Chelios off and gets back to his feet.
Silva misses with a takedown
and Chelios counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Chelios stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chelios is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chelios's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chelios throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Chelios shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Chelios wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chelios, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
