Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Karlsson (ranked 1424 p4p, 205 weight class) and Samuel Kravac (ranked 1383 p4p, 198 weight class). Karlsson comes to the cage accompanied by Nemesis by Arch Enemy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Karlsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Kravac! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karlsson throws a sloppy head kick and Kravac moves out of range easily. Kravac avoids the head kick by Karlsson.
Kravac with the counter takedown but Karlsson avoids it easily. Kravac forces Karlsson back against the cage and clinches. Kravac tries to pull guard but Karlsson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Kravac tries for a takedown but Karlsson manages to get underhooks.
Karlsson tries to land knees in the clinch but Kravac avoids the damage to the body. Kravac being controlled against the cage. Karlsson lands an elbow inside. Karlsson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kravac backwards. Karlsson looking to stall.
Kravac tries to pull guard but Karlsson holds him up against the cage and eventually Kravac drops back down to his feet.
Karl Karlsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Kravac. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karlsson misses with an elbow strike.
Karlsson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Karlsson pushes Kravac back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Kravac misses with a short punch on the inside. Kravac goes for a takedown attempt but Karlsson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kravac connects with a right hand. Karlsson shakes it off. Karlsson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kravac momentarily.
Karlsson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kravac ducks under a wild hook from Karlsson. Kravac just misses with a punch to the body.
Karlsson misses the jab. Kravac misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Karlsson.
Karlsson throws a nice outside leg kick. Kravac has taken the fight to the clinch.
Karlsson is struggling to control the position. Kravac tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Karlsson smiles and moves away.
Karlsson throws a nice looking combination but Kravac bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And Kravac tries to counter it with a takedown but Karlsson pushes his down on his head and steps out. Karlsson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kravac avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kravac drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Karlsson defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Karlsson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kravac has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kravac and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Karlsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kravac moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kravac closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Karlsson to the mat! Karlsson manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kravac stands and throws Karlsson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kravac is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Karlsson has escaped the position, nice work there. Kravac working the ground and pound but Karlsson is defending the strikes. Kravac working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kravac working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlsson is pushing Kravac's head away, looking to escape. Kravac manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kravac tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kravac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kravac working away. Kravac with the ground and pound but Karlsson regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Kravac is working for a submission of some sort.
Kravac looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kravac prevents Karlsson from standing back up.
Kravac missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kravac throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kravac is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Karlsson has managed to free his arm - good work. Kravac slips a nice elbow through Karlsson's hands, connecting with Karlsson's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Karl Karlsson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Karlsson circles away from the clinch attempt letting Karlsson counter with a right hand. Karlsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kravac moves away. Kravac shoots in but Karlsson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kravac shoots in looking for a takedown. Karlsson tries to sprawl out of it but Kravac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karlsson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Karlsson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kravac is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Karlsson's half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kravac tries to pass to full mount but Karlsson defends it. Karlsson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kravac scores with a couple of nice shots.

Kravac throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kravac thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kravac looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kravac trying to mount his opponent but Karlsson defends it. Karlsson is looking to escape. Kravac is looking for a kimura here.
