Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Synyx Dall (ranked 715 p4p, 96 weight class) and Lukas Hanak (ranked 317 p4p, 47 weight class). Dall kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In Scarlet Storm. Hanak has chosen Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Synyx Dall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Synyx Dall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dall misses with a left hand
and Hanak counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hanak swings widly with a right hand
and Dall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Dall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hanak's guard.

Dall moves to his opponent's back but Hanak bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Dall.

Dall is looking for a triangle but Hanak pushes his legs off easily.

Hanak is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hanak gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dall looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hanak puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Hanak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Hanak looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hanak is nestled in close to Dall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hanak keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dall's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hanak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
