Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Darko (ranked 492 p4p, 69 weight class) and Alastair Dunn (ranked 814 p4p, 117 weight class). Darko comes to the cage accompanied by Ominous Drumming. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Darko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Darko has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Darko.
And Darko counters with a quick kick to the body but Dunn blocks it.

Dunn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Darko.
Dunn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Darko was well out of range. Poor timing from Dunn.
Darko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Darko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dunn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Darkos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dunn takes a swing at Darko's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dunn throws out a loose jab but Darko uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dunn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Darko - the referee stops the clock and Dunn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Darko. Dunn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Darko lands a big head kick that sends Dunn tumbling to the mat! Darko takes a step backwards and waves Dunn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Dunn is rocked!
Dunn misses with an uppercut
and Darko scores with a counter punch that sends Dunn to the canvas! Darko smells blood - he's punishing Dunn with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dunn has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
