PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogueira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become (One-X) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ramos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nogueira swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rodrigo Nogueira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramos.

Nogueira closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aldo Ramos.
I think Nogueira has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
