Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cam Newton (ranked 868 p4p, 97 weight class) and Quetzal Montezuma (ranked 398 p4p, 40 weight class). Newton comes to the cage accompanied by Superman. Montezuma is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Mayan Predator. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton throws a combination. Montezuma tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Montezuma lunges at Newton with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Newton's hand.
Newton throws a combination that misses
and Montezuma counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Newton lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Newton swings for the body but Montezuma moves out of range.
Newton throws a lazy uppercut
and Montezuma counters with a thumping low kick.
Newton feints a jab promting Montezuma to slip. Newton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Montezuma slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Montezuma has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Newton takes a swing at Montezuma's ribcage but misses.
Montezuma throws a series of punches but Newton moves out of range.
Newton digs a good body shot into Montezuma's ribs.
Montezuma tries to move into range but Newton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Newton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montezuma circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Newton. Those never looked like landing.
Montezuma looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Nice uppercut there from Montezuma.
Newton tries to bum rush Montezuma with a series of wild strikes but Montezuma uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Newton misses with a double jab.
Montezuma throws a lazy body kick
and Newton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Newton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Montezuma with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Newton throws a series of punches but Montezuma avoids them all with ease.
A combination from Newton does no damage.
Montezuma tries a quick counter leg kick but Newton is wise to it.
Montezuma throws a nice inside leg kick.
Montezuma's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Newton connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Montezuma scrambles back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Montezuma closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Newton out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
