Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Jensen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Violencia Rivas! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jensen is looking to clinch but Rivas is avoiding it.
A telegraphed right hand from Jensen misses the target. Rivas has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rivas lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jensen or not. Rivas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jensen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter in the buildup to the fight. Rivas takes the fight into the clinch. Rivas has Jensen pressed against the cage, preventing Jensen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jensen misses with some punches.

Jensen tries to break free but Rivas pushes him back against the cage. Jensen has had enough of the clinch but Rivas keeps him there for the moment. A looping hook to the body misses from Rivas. Jensen does a little dance to reset his feet. Rivas drives through and clinches with Jensen against the cage.

Violencia Rivas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jensen closes the distance and lands a one-two. Jensen thuds his shin into the meat of Rivas's side. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rivas scores with a jab. Jensen acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jensen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jensen misses the shot to the body. Rivas avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jensen is defended easily by Rivas. Rivas takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jensen blocks a jab. A jab from Rivas finds it's way through Jensen's defenses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Rivas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oooooh!!! Rivas has knocked Jensen down with a huge combo! Rivas steps away and waves a wobbly Jensen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Brian Jensen has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jensen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Oh Jensen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jensen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rivas moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rivas connects with a body shot. Rivas connects with a body shot. Jensen seems to have got his legs back now. Jensen throws a wild hook but Rivas just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Jensen gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Rivas raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Violencia Rivas!
