Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaine Krause!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mitchell Hobson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krause takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.


It looks like Kaine Krause has been cut.
Hobson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circling - Krause throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hobson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hobson walks into a jab.
Krause misses with a straight left.
Krause takes a swing at Hobson's ribcage but misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Krause as he connects with a hook.
Krause scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hobson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Krause connects with a leg kick. Hobson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Krause tries to bum rush Hobson with a series of wild strikes but Hobson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hobson throws a sloppy head kick
and Krause counters with a right hand to the body.
Krause bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hobson's head.
Krause misses with a looping left.

Krause moves into range and clinches up with Hobson.

Hobson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Krause moves out of range of the strikes.
A lazy left from Krause finds it's target.
Hobson throws a low kick but Krause avoids it.

Krause ducks under a wild hook from Hobson.
Jab, jab by Krause - just one landing.
Hobson misses with a double jab.
Krause scores with a jab to the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Krause. Hobson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Krause moves into the clinch successfully.

Hobson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A right-left combo lands from Hobson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Krause misses with a low kick.

Krause lands a right hook to the body.
Krause throws the left hand but Hobson avoids the punch easily.
Krause stuns Hobson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hobson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Krause cracks Hobson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Krause throws a big shot that misses.
Hobson lands with an overhand left.
We've been told by Krause's head coaches at Fallen Angels that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hobson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hobson drops his hands momentarily and Krause takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hobson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krause circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice defenses there by Hobson.
A slapping leg kick lands for Krause.
Krause will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hobson throws a lazy right hand but Krause sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Krause went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hobson throws a sloppy head kick and Krause moves out of range easily.
Krause dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hobson. That did some damage!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hobson!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hobson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Krause counters with a good low kick that Hobson was not able to check.
Hobson throws a right and a left that Krause avoids nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Krause on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hobson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krause lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Krause with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hobson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hobson throws a head kick but Krause moves out of range.

Krause appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krause throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hobson on the side of the head.


Hobson is rocked!
Hobson walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kaine Krause!
An out of breath Kaine Krause thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
