And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steffen Baier!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baier throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hughes was covering up waiting for the punch and Baier finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Baier looking to pass the guard.
Baier prevents Hughes from getting back to his feet.
Baier passes into half guard.
Baier moves into full mount! Hughes won't be happy about that!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baier working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hughes is trying to stand but he's just given Baier his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baier is cranking Hughes's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hughes! He's tightened the choke and Hughes is tapping out!
