Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Rutherford (ranked 5523 p4p, 558 weight class) and Angel Face (ranked 3359 p4p, 396 weight class). Face has chosen Tyga - Real Deal as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Rutherford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angel Face!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutherford shoots for a double leg takedown but Face sprawls well. He's pushed Rutherford's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rutherford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Face's waist but Face gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rutherford off to one side.
A little jabbing left from Face on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rutherford closes the distance and clinches.
Rutherford lands a shoulder strike.
Rutherford looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Face has had enough of the clinch but Rutherford keeps him there for the moment.
Face tries to break the clinch but Rutherford is controlling the position.
Rutherford softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Rutherford keeps control of Face as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Face escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rutherford will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Rutherford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rutherford fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Face, pushing him back against the cage.
Rutherford keeps control of Face as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Face wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rutherford gets through Face's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Face looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rutherford escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rutherford forces Face back against the cage and clinches.
Rutherford lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Face backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Face is trying to force a seperation but Rutherford has the dominant position.
Rutherford pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Face has had enough of the clinch but Rutherford keeps him there for the moment.
Rutherford misses with an elbow strike.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Face managing to block the knees to the body from Rutherford.
Face wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rutherford has him pressed against the cage.
Rutherford lands a right hand that snaps the head of Face backwards.
Face wants to get back to striking at distance but Rutherford won't allow it.
Rutherford lands with a short shot to the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rutherford takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Rutherford breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rutherford fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Face takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rutherford lands with a slapping head kick.
Face lands with a right hand.
Rutherford tries to clinch
and Face connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rutherford tries to clinch but Face moves out of range.
Oooooh!!! Face has knocked Rutherford down with a huge combo! Face steps away and waves a wobbly Rutherford back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Rutherford is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rutherford with a lazy takedown attempt
and Face counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
