Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul OConnell (ranked 909 p4p, 100 weight class) and Vunny Bin (ranked 1209 p4p, 132 weight class). Paul OConnell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vunny Bin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul OConnell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vunny Bin!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bin throws a body punch but OConnell moves out of range.
OConnell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bin was well out of range. Poor timing from OConnell.
Bin loads up on a big right hand but OConnell slips the punch.
Bin throws the kick towards the body but OConnell avoids it.
Bin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. OConnell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from OConnell.
Bin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bin scores with a jab to the body.
OConnell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bin can pounce on him.
Bin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by OConnell.
Bin tries to land a front kick but OConnell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and OConnell counters with a body kick that stops Bin in his tracks momentarily.
Bin gets off balance looking for a body kick
and OConnell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bin moves into range and clinches up with OConnell.
OConnell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bin misses with a wild body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
OConnell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
OConnell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vunny Bin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bin throws a solid leg kick but OConnell takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bin.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
OConnell swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bin looks to score with a jab to the body but OConnell is just out of range.
Jab, jab by OConnell - just one landing.
Bin wants to clinch up but OConnell keeps it at a distance.
OConnell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
OConnell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
OConnell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Vunny Bin has been cut.
Bin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from OConnell.
Bin looks to land a left hand but OConnell moved out of range nicely.
A little feinted left hand from OConnell on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bin moves out of range of the strikes.
OConnell throws a head kick but Bin moves out of range.
OConnell fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
OConnell scores with the left hand. Bin knows he should have avoided that one.
OConnell looks to throw the jab but Bin is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OConnell checks the leg kick nicely there.
OConnell lands a nice shot that snaps Bin's head back.
Bin is rocked!
Bin walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bin limp body while OConnell jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paul OConnell!
Paul OConnell decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
