Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniy Petrov (ranked 428 p4p, 66 weight class) and Von Kromog (ranked 346 p4p, 53 weight class). Von Kromog has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eugeniy Petrov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Von Kromog!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kromog defends well and Petrov ends up having to push Kromog into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Petrov lands a lovely overhand right.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kromog lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Petrov lunges at Kromog with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kromog's hand.
Petrov misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Petrov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Petrov misses with a body punch
and Kromog counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petrov looks to throw the jab but Kromog is out of range.
Petrov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kromog avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrov cracks a nice hook into Kromog's ribs.
Petrov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Petrov throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kromog counters with a nice right hand that sends Petrov toppling to the canvas! Petrov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kromog finish him?!
Petrov is rocked!
It looks like Eugeniy Petrov has been cut.
Petrov throws a poor cross that misses
and Kromog rattles Petrov with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Petrov tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kromog dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Petrov stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Von Kromog!
