PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charley Hanagan (ranked 1327 p4p, 189 weight class) and Spank Crank (ranked 1364 p4p, 196 weight class). Hanagan comes to the cage accompanied by Guilty Until Proven Innocent. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charley Hanagan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spank Crank!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crank swings widly with a right hand
letting Hanagan counter with a right hand.

It looks like Spank Crank has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Crank, right into the meat.
Hanagan loads up on a big right hand but Crank slips the punch.
Crank throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hanagan on the side of the head.
A jab from Crank does it's job there.
Crank throws a leg kick that misses.
Hanagan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Crank cracks Hanagan with a big right hand and Hanagan goes down!

Hanagan is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crank postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Hanagan's head off the mat! Hanagan is out! He's out! Crank jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Spank Crank!
A less than humble Spank Crank misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
The defeated Charley Hanagan had this to say: 'I SHIT MYSELF WHEN I SCREAM AT THE VOICES IN MY SLEEP NO DON'T DO IT WHERE'D YOU GO HUH HUH HUH WHERE AM I.. FUCK!!!!!!!'.
