Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaze Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Jay Z- 99 Problems. Hastings has chosen Blazin Hazen - Avarage Homeboy as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.
Hastings throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Hastings which made him look bad.
Blaze Hastings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hastings dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looks like Daniel Smith has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hastings.

Smith is breathing heavily.
Hastings throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Hastings drops Smith with a left right combo! Hastings follows him down to the ground into side control.

Hastings decides to stand up, so the ref orders Smith to his feet.

Hastings dances in with a quick combination. Smith is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Hastings snaps Smith's head back. Smith stumbles backwards against the cage. Hastings steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Smith's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Smith just didn't come prepared.
