Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey Hatton (ranked 1324 p4p, 180 weight class) and Sammmy Kilbach (ranked 2102 p4p, 269 weight class). Hatton comes to the cage accompanied by deadman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Hatton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammmy Kilbach! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilbach takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kilbach tests Hatton's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hatton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kilbach cracks Hatton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Kilbach swings for the body but Hatton moves out of range.
Hatton attempts a counter takedown but Kilbach avoids it well and moves away. Kilbach's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hatton connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kilbach scrambles back to his feet. Kilbach displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hatton throws out the jab. Kilbach tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hatton was well out of range. Poor timing from Kilbach. Hatton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kilbach looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kilbach swings for the body but Hatton moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Hatton has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Hatton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hatton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilbach was well out of range. Poor timing from Hatton. Hatton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kilbach counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hatton throws a body punch but Kilbach moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton shoots in for a takedown but Kilbach shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A swing and a miss from Kilbach. A swing and a miss from Kilbach. Kilbach throws an off balance right hand
and Hatton counters with a single leg into guard. Kilbach didn't expect that. Hatton passes Kilbach's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kilbach trying to control but Hatton postures up.
Hatton is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kilbach! Hatton controlling the position easily from mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kilbach can do anything to dispel that myth. Hatton trying to control but Kilbach is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hatton working for a submission but Kilbach is keeping him at bay. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hatton working for a submission but Kilbach is keeping him at bay. Hatton has control of Kilbach's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kilbach regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Kilbach is forced to tap! Great finish!
