The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Shorton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Shorton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Shorton creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Borrego with a big uppercut! Borrego tries to clinch up but Shorton pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Borrego to the mat! Borrego covers up and Shorton unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Bill Shorton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Mark Borrego was interviewed post fight and said 'I demand a rematch.....he was boring my nuts.'.
