Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Landon Perry (ranked 9003 p4p, 0 weight class) and Money Joe (ranked 8159 p4p, 0 weight class). Money Joe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Landon Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Money Joe! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Perry. Joe stuffs the takedown. Joe lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Perry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Landon Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Joe pulls guard successfully.
Perry stopping the sweep attempt from Joe. Perry throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perry decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Joe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Perry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Joe stuffs the takedown. Perry shoots in and gets a takedown into Joe's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Joe manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry goes for a takedown attempt but Joe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Perry fails to land the takedown. Perry moves in looking to clinch but Joe pushes him off. Perry fails to land the takedown. Perry blocks a head kick by Joe.
Perry with a poor takedown and Joe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Joe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe tries to break the clinch but Perry is controlling the position. Perry effectively controlling the action here. Joe works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Joe sitting in guard here, content to control. Perry wants to sweep here but Joe controlling him for the moment. Joe sitting in guard here, content to control. Perry is looking for a triangle here but Joe uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry can't do much from the bottom here. Perry tries to improve position but can't. A control attempt from Perry but he's now mounted! Joe controlling the pace for now. Joe throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Joe is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Perry has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Joe jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Perry manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A control attempt from Perry but he's now mounted! Perry tries to lock up and control but Joe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Joe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Perry tries to hold on but Joe postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joe controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Joe throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Money Joe dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Perry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Joe as he jumps to the side. Perry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Joe avoids it really well and circles away. Joe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Perry on his heels. He'll look to pass Perry's guard now, I'm sure. Joe works a leg free and moves into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perry avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Joe. Perry is staying active underneath Joe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Perry is trying to stand back up but Joe is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round. Joe not landing any meaningful shots this time. Perry is trying to maintain the position but Joe is very close to passing his half guard. Perry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Joe throwing shots but Perry is blocking nicely. Perry is trying to stand back up but Joe is controlling him
Joe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Joe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Perry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Joe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Joe controlling the action here. Perry is looking to escape. Joe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Joe is looking to take a break and control but Perry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Joe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perry circles away quickly and effectively. Joe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Perry is looking to stand up but Joe isn't so interested in that idea. Perry looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Joe looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Joe is standing up over Perry. Perry looks to escape but Joe dives into side control.
Joe controls the position from side control. Joe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perry keeps working. Perry wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Joe working the ground and pound. Joe decides to stand up, so the ref orders Perry to his feet. Joe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Joe is looking to break free of the clinch but Perry has double underhooks. Perry is trying to break free. Perry manages to break the clinch.
Joe slips under a jab. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Perry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Joe napping and manages to drive through into side control! Perry working away. Joe misses with a strike from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Money Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perry is not content to let Joe control the position. Joe stands up from half guard. Joe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Joe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Perry uses from the top position. Joe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Perry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Perry is looking to work some ground and pound but Joe has wrist control.

Perry misses with a takedown attempt and Joe counters with a one-two to the body. Perry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Joe but Joe pushes him off and we're back to square one. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Joe dives in and scores a takedown into Perry's guard. Perry is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Joe presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Joe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Perry has him pressed against the cage. Perry is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Landon Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Perry regains guard immediately.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Joe stays in close to Perry's body and controls the position. Perry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Joe is looking to work some ground and pound but Perry has wrist control. Joe sitting in guard here, content to control. Perry wants to get back to his feet but Joe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry is working an open guard so Joe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Joe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Perry tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Joe manages to circle out of the way. Perry manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joe on his heels. He'll look to pass Joe's guard now, I'm sure. Joe is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Perry presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Perry is fighting off a takedown attempt but Joe is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Perry to the mat. Perry regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Perry is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Joe is aware though and is defending well. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Joe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Perry wants to get back to his feet but Joe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Perry can't keep his opponent in guard - Joe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perry looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joe punching from mount but Perry doing a good job of avoiding damage. Perry is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Money Joe has got the better of the ground game so far. Joe controlling the position easily from mount. Landon Perry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Money Joe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Perry wants to try and get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Money Joe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Joe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
