Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Stalker.
Diaz's coach down at Makoa - Hilo Cheapest Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Diaz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stalker misses with a looping left.
Diaz tries to counter with a clinch but Stalker shakes him off and moves away.
Diaz ducks right into an uppercut from Stalker.
It looks like Mickey Diaz has been cut.

Stalker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Diaz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Diaz throws out a counter right but Stalker avoids it with no problem.
Stalker clinches with his opponent.
Diaz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Stalker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Diaz has him pressed against the cage.
Diaz jumps guard and drags Stalker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
