Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alaaeddine Ben Hassine (ranked 5221 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Xavier (ranked 7322 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alaaeddine Ben Hassine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Xavier! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ben Hassine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Xavier's waist but Xavier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ben Hassine off to one side. Ben Hassine tries to close the distance and clinch but Xavier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ben Hassine avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ben Hassine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Xavier avoids it really well and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Ben Hassine. Those never looked like landing. Ben Hassine shoots in for a double leg but Xavier sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alaaeddine Ben Hassine. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Xavier misses with a double jab.
Xavier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Xavier trying to control but Ben Hassine is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier pushes down on Ben Hassine's leg and manages to get into half guard. Xavier lands strikes from half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Xavier trying to control the action but Ben Hassine is working from the bottom. Xavier wants to free his trapped foot but Ben Hassine is holding on for dear life with his legs. Xavier looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ben Hassine with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ben Hassine avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Xavier. Xavier has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ben Hassine taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xavier trying to control but Ben Hassine is having none of it. Xavier working the ground and pound effectively.
Ben Hassine is bucking up trying to escape but Xavier cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Ben Hassine is rocked! Xavier looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ben Hassine covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Xavier!
