Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ahmet Uyar (ranked 25436 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takayuki Hamada (ranked 3733 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ahmet Uyar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Takayuki Hamada! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uyar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hamada defends well and Uyar ends up having to push Hamada into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Uyar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hamada, pushing him back against the cage. Hamada tries to break the clinch but Uyar is controlling the position. Hamada tries to circle away but Uyar has him pinned against the cage. The referee calls for Uyar to work.
Uyar is trying to pull guard but Hamada has him pressed against the cage. Uyar working some nice short punches in the clinch. Uyar leaning against his opponent.
Hamada tries to break the clinch but Uyar is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uyar stalling.
Hamada wants to take the fight to the mat but Uyar manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Uyar holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Hamada tries to pull guard but Uyar holds him up against the cage and eventually Hamada drops back down to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uyar connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hamada's face.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Uyar takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hamada jumps guard but Uyar stands there with Hamada around his waist. Hamada gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ahmet Uyar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takayuki Hamada. Hamada breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Uyar. Uyar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Uyar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Uyar presses Hamada against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uyar is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hamada gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hamada tries to circle away but Uyar has him pinned against the cage. Hamada gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Uyar.
Uyar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Uyar clinches with his opponent.
Uyar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hamada's elbow. Uyar manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hamada tries to throw a body punch but Uyar avoids it by throwing Hamada back against the cage. Uyar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hamada fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Uyar to the ground. Hamada is now in Uyar's guard. Hamada is standing up over Uyar. Uyar looks to escape but Hamada dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hamada is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Uyar has escaped the position, nice work there. Uyar is looking for a sweep. Hamada creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Uyar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uyar is looking to reverse the position. Hamada has hold of Uyar's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Uyar seems comfortable defending it but Hamada has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Uyar is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Uyar is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hamada couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Takayuki Hamada!
