Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dex Arial (ranked 2710 p4p, 361 weight class) and Ivashin Dmitrievich (ranked 4210 p4p, 523 weight class). Arial kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Thunder. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivashin Dmitrievich!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arial fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dmitrievich looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dmitrievich jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Arial takes one on the button.
Arial doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dmitrievich cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dmitrievich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dmitrievich ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dmitrievich lands a jab.
Arial is rocked!
Dmitrievich closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Arial is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dmitrievich lands a body punch in the clinch.
Arial seems to have got his legs back now.
Arial can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dex Arial. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right hook to the body lands for Dmitrievich.
Dmitrievich pushes Arial back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dmitrievich breaks the clinch.
Arial swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dmitrievich counters with a left to the body.
Arial shoots in for a takedown but Dmitrievich shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Arial shoots and misses
and Dmitrievich counters with a crisp right that sends Arial to the canvas! Dmitrievich follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Ivashin Dmitrievich thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
