The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast throws a poor cross that misses
letting Carter counter with a right hand.
Carter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Beast throws a lazy right hand but Carter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Beast uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carter.
The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Beast shoots in and gets a takedown into Carter's guard.
Carter looking for a triangle here. Beast is fighting it but it looks tight! Carter pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Beast is tapping out - this one is all over!

Michael Carter decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
