Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Yulian Vyacheslavovich (ranked 7341 p4p, 144 weight class) and Makanakananui Opuakuwa (ranked 8131 p4p, 151 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opuakuwa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Opuakuwa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Opuakuwa jabs at Vyacheslavovich's body.
Opuakuwa has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vyacheslavovich is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Vyacheslavovich throws out a loose jab but Opuakuwa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vyacheslavovich scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vyacheslavovich sizes up Opuakuwa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Makanakananui Opuakuwa has been cut.
Vyacheslavovich smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Vyacheslavovich scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Opuakuwa to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Vyacheslavovich away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Opuakuwa got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Opuakuwa walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Yulian Vyacheslavovich decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
