Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Yulian Vyacheslavovich (ranked 7341 p4p, 144 weight class) and Makanakananui Opuakuwa (ranked 8131 p4p, 151 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yulian Vyacheslavovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Makanakananui Opuakuwa! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Opuakuwa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Opuakuwa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Opuakuwa jabs at Vyacheslavovich's body. Opuakuwa has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vyacheslavovich is landing a low percentage of strikes. Vyacheslavovich throws out a loose jab but Opuakuwa uses good head movement to avoid it. Vyacheslavovich scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Vyacheslavovich sizes up Opuakuwa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Makanakananui Opuakuwa has been cut. Vyacheslavovich smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Opuakuwa wants to clinch. Opuakuwa closes the distance and clinches. Opuakuwa with an attempt at a knee that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Opuakuwa goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Opuakuwa manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Opuakuwa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vyacheslavovich scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Opuakuwa to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Vyacheslavovich away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Opuakuwa got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?! Vyacheslavovich lands with a shot to the body. Vyacheslavovich is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Opuakuwa wants to clinch and Vyacheslavovich counters with a stiff right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Opuakuwa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Opuakuwa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Come on Opuakuwa - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Opuakuwa scores with a push kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Opuakuwa tries to clinch there but Vyacheslavovich circles away.
Opuakuwa misses with an uppercut. Vyacheslavovich saw that one coming. Opuakuwa moves in looking to clinch but Vyacheslavovich pushes him off. Yulian Vyacheslavovich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vyacheslavovich misses with a hook
and Opuakuwa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Vyacheslavovich is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Vyacheslavovich is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Good shot there by Vyacheslavovich. Opuakuwa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Vyacheslavovich dodges the punch combination from Opuakuwa.
Opuakuwa wants to clinch. Opuakuwa tries to clinch up letting Vyacheslavovich counter with a right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A shot to the liver by Vyacheslavovich. Beautiful body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yulian Vyacheslavovich dominated that round. The cut man is working on Makanakananui Opuakuwa's cut. That's time! Vyacheslavovich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vyacheslavovich blocks a jab. Vyacheslavovich throwing a counter right hand but Opuakuwa manages to avoid it. Opuakuwa has managed to clinch.
Vyacheslavovich looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Opuakuwa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Opuakuwa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Vyacheslavovich is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Opuakuwa can do to turn this around? Vyacheslavovich tries to work over Opuakuwa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Opuakuwa can't break the clinch.
Vyacheslavovich misses with a body punch.
Vyacheslavovich tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Opuakuwa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Opuakuwa blocks a head kick by Vyacheslavovich.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vyacheslavovich tries to clinch up. Vyacheslavovich uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Opuakuwa pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Makanakananui Opuakuwa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Opuakuwa on the wrong end of a nice jab. Opuakuwa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That has opened up Makanakananui Opuakuwa's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round. Opuakuwa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Opuakuwa walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Yulian Vyacheslavovich! Yulian Vyacheslavovich decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
