Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zack Harlow!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harlow throws a head kick that misses

and Wallace moves into the clinch.
Harlow looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Wallace tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Harlow just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wallace is pushing Harlow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Wallace stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Harlow wants a takedown but no success here.
Wallace goes for a takedown in the clinch but Harlow prevents it.
Harlow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wallace shoots in and drives through. Harlow sprawls well.

Wallace has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Harlow is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wallace throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Harlow.
Wallace tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Harlow defends well and Wallace ends up having to push Harlow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Harlow stuffs the takedown attempt from Wallace. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet.

Wallace darts in and clinches Harlow up against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wallace controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wallace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wallace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wallace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wallace fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harlow avoids it really well and circles away.
It seemed like Harlow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Harlow slips a jab and a cross from Wallace.
Wallace stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wallace wants it to stay on the feet.
A counter left hand to the body from Wallace misses its target.
Harlow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As Wallace backs off Harlow throws a huge counter combo but Wallace manages to avoid it all.
Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harlow circles away.
Harlow now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wallace throws a sloppy head kick and Harlow moves out of range easily.
Harlow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Harlow avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wallace is defended easily by Harlow.

and Harlow counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Harlow sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Harlow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harlow working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

David Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Harlow is looking to work some ground and pound but Wallace has wrist control.
Wallace is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Harlow is holding on to half guard well.

Wallace wants to work for an arm triangle but Harlow is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Harlow won't allow Wallace to pass to mount.
Zack Harlow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
David Wallace is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
