Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Romeu Nakata!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lara looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nakata moves into the clinch successfully.
Nakata tries a knee to the head but Lara blocks it.
Nakata keeps control of Lara as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nakata clinches.
Nakata pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nakata throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lara tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nakata is in Lara's guard.
Lara pushes Nakata off and scrambles back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nakata falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lara counters with a two punch combo.
Nakata rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lara moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lara has a takedown stuffed.
Nakata throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lara fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nakata shapes to counter with a head kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwain Lara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nakata gets the takedown into side control.
Lara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lara tries to buck Nakata off but Nakata is having none of it.
Nakata swings around for an armbar but Lara sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nakata's guard.
Lara gets to his feet. Nakata looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nakata shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lara manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lara wriggles free and stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nakata has closed the distance and engaged Lara in a clinch.
Nakata has hold of one of Lara's legs. Lara is fighting the takedown attempt but Nakata gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Nakata is looking to stand up but Lara won't let him.
Nakata is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Nakata postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lara is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nakata, into his guard.
Lara gets to his feet - Nakata follows without any prompting.
Nakata throws a combination that misses
and Lara counters with a left and a right that stings Nakata.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakata clinches with his opponent.
Nakata lands a body shot.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Nakata turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Lara throws Nakata to one side and escapes!
Lara gets tackled into the cage by Nakata. Nakata maintains the clinch.
Nakata wants to stall.
Lara breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nakata closes the distance and pushes Lara back into the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakata manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Nakata working for a triangle but Lara defends it easily.
Lara is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lara stands and steps away. Nakata gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nakata clinches up against the cage.
Nakata with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nakata has Lara pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nakata pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lara tumbling to the mat - Nakata dives into Lara's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dwain Lara will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nakata forces Lara back against the cage and clinches.
Nakata gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lara regains guard.
Lara is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Nakata decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lara, up you get!
Nakata misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lara gets caught napping as Nakata dives in and scores a takedown. Lara manages to retain guard.
Lara pushes Nakata off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nakata.

Lara looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Nakata has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Lara is on him like a limpet, forcing Nakata back against the cage.
Lara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nakata closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lara pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Romeu Nakata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nakata closes the distance and pushes Lara back into the cage.
Nakata gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lara kicks Nakata off and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nakata clinches with his opponent.
Lara controlling the action here for a moment.
Nakata ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nakata no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dwain Lara overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lara content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Nakata is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lara is aware though and is defending well.
Nakata keeping moving, preventing Lara from controlling successfully.
Nakata working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nakata is breathing heavily.
Nakata looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lara is defending well. Nakata quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lara has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Nakata celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
