Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 2261 p4p, 276 weight class) and John Starman (ranked 4634 p4p, 486 weight class). Starman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by wrestlers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Starman! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starman has a takedown stuffed. Starman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snow but Snow pushes him off and we're back to square one. Snow has closed the distance and engaged Starman in a clinch.
Starman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Snow pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jon Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Starman. Snow breaks from the clinch.
Snow fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Starman, pushing him back against the ropes. Snow stops a takedown attempt from Starman.
Starman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Snow smiles and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Starman is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Snow misses with a short punch on the inside. Starman jumps guard but Snow stands there with Starman around his waist. Starman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Snow lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Starman backwards. Starman misses with a hook from the clinch. Starman has a couple of punches blocked by Snow.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Snow showed his dominance in that final round. Well Snow has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
