Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Albert Sure (ranked 6457 p4p, 306 weight class) and Joe Stalin (ranked 4250 p4p, 219 weight class). Stalin has chosen Rasputin as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Stalin!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sure lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stalin circles away quickly and effectively.
Sure keeps the fight on the outside.
Sure misses with a lunging right hand
and Stalin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Sure lands a nice looking body kick.
Sure fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stalin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sure misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sure looks to land a combination but Stalin avoids it well.
A little jabbing left from Stalin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Stalin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Stalin counters with a three punch combo that has Sure backing up. Sure nods at Stalin to acknowledge the strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sure swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stalin connects with a looping right hand.
Sure takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Stalin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stalin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Stalin misses with a body shot.
Sure throws a lazy uppercut
and Stalin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A combination from Sure does no damage.
Sure misses with a head kick.
Stalin tries to counter by closing the distance.

Stalin is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sure keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sure misses with a double jab
and Stalin counters with a stiff right hand.
Sure throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Sure pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stalin back to the ropes. Sure follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Stalin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sure lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stalin backs up against the ropes.
Sure misses the jab.
Stalin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sure under the eye.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sure. Stalin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stalin misses with a few strikes there.

Sure misses with a hook. Stalin ducked under it nicely.
Stalin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sure with a body shot.
Sure looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Stalin counters by clinching up.
Sure tries to work over Stalin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sure's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sure misses with a few strikes there.

and Stalin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stalin blocks a head kick by Sure.
Stalin tries to clinch but Sure is having none of it.
Sure ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stalin moves away.
Stalin steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Sure.

and Stalin counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Sure lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Stalin or not.
Stalin scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sure wants to get back to striking at distance but Stalin won't allow it.

Sure breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A jab from Sure misses.
Stalin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sure throwing a counter right hand but Stalin manages to avoid it.
Sure throws a lazy right hand but Stalin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stalin wants to counter with a clinch but Sure pushes him away.
Sure scores with a head kick.
Stalin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sure throws a sloppy head kick

and Stalin moves into the clinch.
Sure tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stalin avoids it.
Sure tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sure lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Stalin blocking some punches.
Sure pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.

Stalin breaks the clinch.
Stalin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stalin slips under a jab.
Stalin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Stalin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Stalin duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sure gets tackled into the ropes by Stalin. Stalin maintains the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sure pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stalin with a jab.
Sure throws a head kick that misses

and Stalin counters by clinching up.
Sure misses with a punch on the inside.

Sure breaks the clinch.
Sure takes one to the chin there.
Stalin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Stalin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stalin punishes Sure's body with a nice straight punch.
Sure connects with a nice looking jab.
Stalin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


Stalin is rocked!
Stalin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Stalin is still on wobbly legs! Can Sure finish him?
Sure jabs at Stalin's body.
Stalin walks straight into a solid jab from Sure. Oh, it looks like it's stumbled him! Sure follows up with a big combo - a right followed by a left that knocks Stalin out cold! Stalin toppled like a tree, face planting on the canvas. Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Albert Sure!
In defeat, Joe Stalin stepped up to the mic, saying 'Capitalist pig...'.
