Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hollis Whitehead (ranked 25298 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killah Phill (ranked 5579 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hollis Whitehead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Killah Phill! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitehead blocks a leg kick. Whitehead went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Whitehead blocks a leg kick. Phill shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Whitehead's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Phill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Whitehead being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phill pushes down on Whitehead's leg and manages to get into half guard. Phill is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Whitehead manages to get to full guard. Whitehead trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Phill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Phill is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Phill wanted to stand there but Whitehead had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Phill not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Whitehead knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Phill on the ground. Phill gets to his feet - Whitehead follows without any prompting. A head kick misses from Phill. Whitehead seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Phill dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Phill throws a leg kick but Whitehead moved away. Phill connects with a body shot that sends Whitehead's belly button to the back. Phill shoots in and bounces Whitehead off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Whitehead wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Phill manages to pass to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Phill lands with a punch from half guard. Phill wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Phill wants to free his trapped foot but Whitehead is holding on for dear life with his legs. Whitehead really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Well, if Phill is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Killah Phill dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Phill looks for the body kick but Whitehead saw that one coming. Hollis Whitehead is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Phill closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Phill is trying to get an arm triangle but Whitehead is defending well. Phill decides to take the fight back to the feet. Phill misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phill rushes Whitehead and presses him up against the cage. Phill tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Phill will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Whitehead up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whitehead prevents a takedown attempt there.

Killah Phill has got the better of the ground game so far. Phill wants to sweep here but Whitehead controlling him for the moment. Phill has control of Whitehead's left arm, preventing Whitehead from doing any damage. Phill keeping moving, preventing Whitehead from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Whitehead is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Phill is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Whitehead looking to sit in guard and control but Phill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Phill slips nicely into half guard. Phill is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Phill is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Whitehead doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Phill.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Phill connects with a nice short shot to Whitehead's temple. Phill takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Phill passes to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Whitehead sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Phill controlling the pace. Whitehead is defending against the submission attempts here by Phill.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Phill controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Killah Phill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Phill drags the fight down to the ground.
Phill is adopting a defensive guard. Phill is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Phill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Whitehead gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Whitehead postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Phill is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Whitehead, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Phill is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Phill's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Phill advances to half guard. Whitehead tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Phill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Whitehead with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Phill is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Whitehead defends it well. Phill looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Whitehead trying to hold on to Phill's head to control him but Phill postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Killah Phill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Phill has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
