The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babyara steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hughes.
Babyara throws out a counter right but Hughes avoids it with no problem.
Babyara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hughes manages to avoid it.
It looked like Hughes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ricky Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Babyara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively.
