Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricky Hughes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Francisco Babyara! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babyara steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hughes. Babyara throws out a counter right but Hughes avoids it with no problem. Babyara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hughes manages to avoid it. It looked like Hughes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ricky Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hughes lands a right hook to the body.

It looks like Francisco Babyara has been cut. Babyara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively. Babyara walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hughes misses with a head kick.

Hughes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Babyara keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Ricky Hughes has been cut. Babyara blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Babyara connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hughes covering up! Babyara comes in with a big uppercut and Hughes goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
