Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Leonard (ranked 7818 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Sevic (ranked 5821 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Sevic will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaun Leonard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Sevic! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Leonard tries to circle away but Sevic has him pinned against the cage. Sevic tries for a takedown. No joy.
Leonard tries to pull guard but Sevic won't allow it.
Leonard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Leonard can't break the clinch.
Sevic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Leonard is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Leonard tries to pull guard but Sevic holds him up against the cage and eventually Leonard drops back down to his feet.
Sevic has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Leonard uses from the top position. Leonard tries to stand but Sevic is controlling from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sevic is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Leonard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Leonard could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leonard wants to stand but Sevic is controlling his posture from full guard. Sevic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leonard. Sevic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Leonard throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Robert Sevic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sevic throws a nice head kick!
Sevic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leonard sprawls well initially but Sevic persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sevic wants to free his trapped foot but Leonard is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are battling for position here. Leonard manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sevic looking to pass the guard. Sevic is pushing down on Leonard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Leonard is fighting to maintain full guard but Sevic has managed to sneak the leg through. Sevic prevents Leonard from improving his position. Leonard is working hard here to advance position. Sevic is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Leonard defends it well. Leonard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sevic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Leonard keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leonard slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Leonard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sevic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leonard swivels though and keeps the full guard. Leonard controls Sevic momentarily but Sevic frees himself. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Leonard keeping moving, preventing Sevic from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sevic looking to score a takedown here. Leonard is defending well but Sevic drives through and ends up in Leonard's guard. Leonard manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Sevic breaks the clinch.
Sevic gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sevic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leonard doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sevic. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Sevic dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Leonard scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sevic sneaks out the side door and pushes Leonard away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Leonard has closed the distance and engaged Sevic in a clinch.
Sevic tries to score a body lock takedown but Leonard shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Knees in the clinch landing for Sevic.
Sevic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sevic goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Sevic shoots in and bounces Leonard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sevic trying to control the position from guard on top but Leonard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sevic is sitting in close to Leonard's body. Leonard has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sevic is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sevic is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Leonard.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Shaun Leonard!
