The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre throws a poor cross that misses

and Colt counters with a series of strikes that sends Pierre to the canvas! Colt follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pierre will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Pierre is trying to keep Colt in close.

Pierre cracks Colt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Colt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pierre on the ground.
