Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chienh Chih Wu (ranked 6487 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Peoples (ranked 24949 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Chienh Chih Wu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chienh Chih Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris Peoples! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wu shoots in but Peoples avoids the takedown attempt easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wu stops a takedown attempt from Peoples.
Wu is trying to break the clinch but Peoples has him pressed against the cage. Peoples stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The referee is keeping an eye on Peoples - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peoples jumps guard but Wu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Peoples jumps guard and drags Wu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Peoples wants to sweep here but Wu controlling him for the moment. Peoples is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wu is trying to get back to full guard. Peoples is working for a submission of some sort.
Peoples prevents Wu from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wu. Peoples sitting in guard here, content to control. Wu looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Peoples trying to control but Wu is working from the bottom. Peoples decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wu, up you get! Peoples fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wu, pushing him back against the cage. Wu can't break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu wants to take the fight to the mat but Peoples manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Wu tries for a takedown but Peoples manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chienh Chih Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peoples tries to pull guard but Wu won't allow it.
Peoples prevents a takedown attempt there.
Peoples gets control of Wu's arms and successfully pulls guard. Peoples will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Wu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Peoples to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Peoples pulls down on the head and he's put Wu to sleep! This one is all over!
