Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Patton (ranked 808 p4p, 116 weight class) and Jan Kriel (ranked 1042 p4p, 143 weight class). Patton comes to the cage accompanied by Barasuara - Api dan Lentera. Kriel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fokofpolisiekar - Fokofpolisiekar. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kriel, pushing him back against the cage. Patton can't find room to land a body shot as Kriel controls the action.
Kriel prevents a body shot from Patton. Kriel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Patton swings wildly with an uppercut but Kriel uses good head movement to avoid it. Kriel lands a right hand. Kriel doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Patton just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kriel's brow. A shot in the inside from Kriel. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kriel looking to throw knees to the head but Patton is blocking nicely.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kriel lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Patton or not. Kriel can't find room to land a body shot as Patton controls the action.

Patton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kriel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A looping hook to the body misses from Kriel. Patton does a little dance to reset his feet. Patton jabbing away but nothing is landing. Patton throws a leg kick but Kriel checks it. Patton misses with a wild body shot. A countering left hand to the body from Kriel misses. Patton walks into a stiff left hand from Kriel. A big left from Kriel misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kriel throws a hook to the side of Patton's head but Patton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kriel checks a low kick from Patton. Patton darts in trying to clinch and Kriel counters with a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kriel checks a leg kick. Oh Patton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kriel measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Patton! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jan Kriel! Jan Kriel spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
