Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Sigit (ranked 100 p4p, 16 weight class) and Arthur Halo (ranked 92 p4p, 14 weight class). Sigit comes to the cage accompanied by Gie. Arthur Halo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 20 - 2, fighting out of New York, The Sigit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Halo!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo throws a body shot but no joy.
Arthur Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Halo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sigit gets back to half guard.

Sigit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Halo pulls his head out easily.

Sigit actively working from the bottom here.
Halo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sigit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Halo is trying to control. Sigit wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sigit is just riding it out for now. Halo eventually gives up the hold.

Sigit is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Touch Of Death Combat Academy, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Sigit is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Halo gets his way!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sigit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Halo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sigit shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Halo but Halo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

I would just about give that final round to Arthur Halo.

Arthur Halo opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
