Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Feltre (ranked 484 p4p, 61 weight class) and Jerry Haze (ranked 380 p4p, 45 weight class). Feltre's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Someday Never Comes. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felipe Feltre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Haze! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haze attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Feltre quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Haze throws a sloppy head kick and Feltre moves out of range easily. A counter left hand to the body from Feltre misses its target. Haze checks a low kick from Feltre. Feltre scores with a nice strike. Haze thows a left - swing and a miss! Haze just misses with a punch to the body.
Feltre throws a big counter combination but Haze scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Feltre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haze moves away. Feltre lands a head shot. Haze avoids the head kick by Feltre.
Haze steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Haze throws a wild body kick that Feltre sees coming a mile off. Haze looks to score with a jab to the body but Feltre is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haze throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Feltre counters with a right hand to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Haze misses the target. Haze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Crunch! Haze slams his shin into Feltre's torso. Haze turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feltre defending well as Haze loads up on a big left hand. A shot to the liver by Feltre. Beautiful body shot. A punch lands to the side of Feltre 's head but he takes it in his stride. Haze fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Feltre throws a leg kick and Haze counters with a nice body kick. Haze blocks a leg kick. That kick from Haze tenderised Feltre's leg. Feltre is trying to keep his angry face on. Haze fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Feltre manages to avoid it. Feltre throws a hook but Haze avoids it easily. Jerry Haze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haze moves into the clinch successfully.
Haze throws a knee to the head but misses.
Feltre pulls guard. Feltre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Haze defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Haze wants to control from the top but Feltre keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haze throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Feltre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Haze scoring with some ground and pound. Haze wants to control from the top but Feltre keeps moving. Haze passes Feltre's left leg - he's now in half guard. Feltre trying to control from the bottom.
Feltre actively working from the bottom here. Haze is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Haze trying to control from half guard but Feltre is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haze lands with a punch from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Feltre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Haze pulls his head out easily. Feltre is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Haze scores with a couple of nice shots. Feltre actively working from the bottom here. Haze scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Feltre wants to get back to full guard. Haze working Feltre over with strikes. Feltre taking some punishment here, with Haze in his half guard. Ground and pound from Haze. Haze drops an elbow to the side of Feltre's head.
Feltre is rocked! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Haze connects with a nice short shot to Feltre's temple. Oh Feltre is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Feltre looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haze seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Feltre seems to have got his legs back now. Feltre tries to roll over but Haze keeps him under control. Feltre looking for submissions off his back. Haze trying to control the action but Feltre is working from the bottom. Haze landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Nice strikes from Haze there. Haze not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Haze dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Feltre keeps the fight on the outside. Feltre feinted there with a counter leg kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Haze. Haze attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Haze has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Feltre connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Haze takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Feltre on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Feltre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Haze throws out the jab. Feltre swats away the attempt to clinch by Haze. Feltre was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Feltre slips under a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haze goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Feltre misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Feltre is trying to pull guard but Haze turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Feltre tries to pull guard but Haze forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Feltre jumps guard and drags Haze to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Feltre seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Haze trying to control but Feltre is working from the bottom. Haze looking to sit in guard and control but Feltre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Haze keeping moving, preventing Feltre from controlling successfully. Feltre works a leg free and moves into half guard. Feltre is working for a kimura but Haze is defending it quite comfortably.

Haze controls Feltre momentarily but Feltre frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haze tries to land a sweep but no joy. Feltre pushes down on Haze's leg and manages to get into half guard. Feltre moves nicely into side control. Haze is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Feltre off and has taken his back! Haze connects with a big shot to the side of Feltre's head.
This has been an exciting period of action! Haze is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Feltre. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Haze gets his hands free as Feltre looks to control. Haze lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Feltre grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Haze is punishing Feltre with strikes - can he finish him?!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooh a big shot gets through from Haze. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Feltre has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Haze throwing damaging strikes from the back! Feltre could be in trouble here!

Feltre prevents Haze from getting a body triangle. Feltre manages to reverse the position and now he's in Haze's guard. Nice work there by Feltre.

Feltre is fighting to break Haze's control of his arms but Haze is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Feltre passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haze manages to get back to half guard. Feltre seems to be working for a kimura but Haze defends the submission attempt. Haze is looking for a sweep. Feltre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Feltre wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haze keeps working. Feltre is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Haze defends it well. Feltre wants to work for an arm triangle but Haze is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Haze is in trouble now - Feltre has advanced to mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jerry Haze will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jerry Haze is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Haze is pushing down on Feltre's leg trying to pass to half guard. Feltre is fighting to maintain full guard but Haze has managed to sneak the leg through. Feltre has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Haze escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Haze! Feltre is looking to regain half guard here but Haze keeps moving and retains side control. Felipe Feltre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jerry Haze has got the better of the ground game so far. Haze trying to control the action but Feltre is working from the bottom. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Haze wants to control but Feltre is keeping him busy. Check out the look on Haze's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Haze cracks Feltre with an elbow. That is naaassty. Haze wants to control but Feltre is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Jerry Haze comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Haze has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
