Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
46 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ravi Shankoli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shankoli throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Shankoli throws a series of punches but Parker moves out of range. Shankoli throws a hook but Parker avoids it easily. Parker has closed the distance and engaged Shankoli in a clinch.
Parker stalling the fight.
Parker has had enough of the clinch but Shankoli keeps him there for the moment. Parker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Shankoli tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Parker. Parker scores with a shoulder strike. Parker misses with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shankoli pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shankoli looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The fight moves into the clinch position. A short right from Parker.

Parker throws a punch but it's blocked by Shankoli. A short left from Parker. Parker misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Shankoli scores with a shoulder strike. Shankoli lands a body shot in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Shankoli fails to land. Parker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Shankoli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Parker wants to clinch. Shankoli was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Parker darts in and clinches Shankoli up against the cage.

Parker tries to throw a body punch but Shankoli avoids it by throwing Parker back against the cage. Parker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Shankoli stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A head punch on the inside from Parker fails to land. Parker jumps guard but Shankoli turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Parker misses with the head strike.

Parker has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Shankoli seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Parker can turn it around. Peter Parker dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jab from Parker. Shankoli tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Shankoli misses with a looping right. Parker rushes Shankoli and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Parker misses with a body punch.

Peter Parker seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Shankoli wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Shankoli. Shankoli working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Still in the clinch, Shankoli scores with a nice short uppercut. Parker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shankoli fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Shankoli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Parker darts in trying to clinch and Shankoli counters with a two punch combo.

and Shankoli counters with a one-two to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parker throws a lazy uppercut
and Shankoli counters with a nice right hand that sends Parker toppling to the canvas! Parker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Shankoli finish him?!
Parker is rocked! Shankoli throws a leg kick which misses Parker's front leg but catches the back leg as Parker tries to avoid it. Parker is still on wobbly legs! Can Shankoli finish him? Parker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shankoli. Shankoli went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A head kick misses from Shankoli. Parker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Crack! Shankoli connects with the perfect overhand right and Parker falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Shankoli!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ravi Shankoli! An intense looking Ravi Shankoli took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'His spirit was strong, but my intention was to crush him. Psychologically, as well as physically with my boxing. I knew that he would be a willing opponent, and he showed heart, but my soul wanted this more! I feel strongly against animal violence, but in this case taking the hammer to the panda wa'.
