Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Bowman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Imani Anderson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bowman's head. Bowman throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.

Anderson works Bowman's body with a nice hook. Bowman tries to clinch up. Anderson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Bowman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bowman swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Bowman rushes Anderson and presses him up against the cage. Bowman breaks from the clinch.
Bowman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Anderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Anderson. Anderson takes the fight into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bowman breaks from the clinch.
Imani Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson throws a shot from downtown. Bowman moves away and avoids it. Bowman slips under a jab from Anderson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowman slips under a jab from Anderson. Anderson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bowman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Anderson stands up from Bowman's guard - Anderson perhaps looking for a knockout. Bowman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bowman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bowman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Decent striking displayed by Anderson there. Anderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bowman! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bowman looking for a sweep but Anderson has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson with the ground and pound from mount. Bowman is trying desperately to improve position. Anderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bowman is in all sorts of trouble here.
Anderson lands a heavy elbow. Bowman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Anderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bowman is looking to escape. Anderson controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowman can't escape the position.
Anderson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Bowman is forced to tap! Great finish!
